Customer Reviews

Best youth catcher's mitt available5 Bought this for my 10 year old after his old mitt was worn out. Broke in in about 1 month (at least to his liking) He now swears by his Akadema and would not use any other. He has tried a few others in practice or scrimmage games but says his Akadema is by far the best. He has used it now for 8 months and happier than ever.It is well used and the mitt has worn well with no tears, rips or laces popping. The extra padding, or as they say stress wedge is a hand saver and the finger hammocks make the glove feel like a second hand (his words) Anyone looking to spend more on another brand don't bother and if going 10 to 20 dollars cheaper for other brands, you'll end up regretting it after trying to break it in only to have it not hold up to intense play. Bottom line great for serious players, reasonably priced for less than serious, This mitt is a winner.
