Customer Reviews

Nice good quality glove5 I realize gloves are not what they used to be but this glove is a typical A2000 quality glove. I use it for softball and it works well. It does take a while to break in.   Buyer Might Want to Beware1 I purchased this Wilson XLC-T 12 1/2" Dual Hinge RH glove March 10, 2008 from seller Amazon.com. The glove arrived within a couple of days, in a plastic bag with the Wilson leather tag. It seemed to take too long to get it broken in. I used 1 1/2 tubes of Nokona NLT Classic Glove Conditioner. Still not satisfied with the way it was breaking in, I used Rawlings Glove-olium on it. This did not help at all, and sucked. So, I got another tube of Nokona, treated the glove, wrapped it in towels and tied it tightly, with one ball in it, and the pinky finger tucked into the pocket with the thumb overlapping. When I checked a couple of days later, I noticed that the lacing on the outside of the hinge along the index finger had broken. Not only that, the lacing felt stiff and inflexible, kind of like leather that has been ruined by water. I removed most of the lacing along the hinge(as it broke in another spot). I have yet to try to re-lace it and might take it to a pro. This should not happen. I already own an A2000 that is 30 years old. The lacing fell apart and broke on it because it had not been used or cared for in over 20 years. Fine. A brand new glove, if in fact it was new and not a return, should not have these problems.
